Advice built around you

Bamboo Wealth's financial advisers work with individuals, families, and business owners across Melbourne to bring clarity and structure to their finances. Every recommendation starts with your goals, your circumstances, and where you want to end up. This isn't a one-size-fits-all model portfolio.

We recommend reading our Financial Services Guide (available below) before your first meeting with an adviser.

Our commitment to you

Advice from Bamboo Wealth is provided under a legal best-interests duty, meaning our recommendations are required to put your outcomes first. Fees for advice are agreed with you upfront in writing, before any work begins. Where a product involves a commission or referral payment (for example, some credit or insurance products), this will always be disclosed clearly in your Statement of Advice so you know exactly how we're paid.

What makes our advice different?

Bamboo, the plant, grows through flexibility and continuous renewal rather than rigid structure. That's the idea behind how we work: your plan isn't a document you receive once and file away. We build it to bend with life changes, market shifts, and new legislation, and we come back to it with you regularly rather than leaving it to go stale.

Because we cover financial planning, investment strategy, tax, superannuation, insurance, lending, and estate matters under one roof, your strategy is built as a single connected picture rather than a set of disconnected recommendations from different specialists.

What is personal financial advice?

Personal (or tailored) advice is recommendation-level guidance built specifically around your financial position, goals, and risk profile. This is distinct from general information that isn't customised to your circumstances. It can address a single question, such as how to structure your super contributions, or it can be a comprehensive plan covering your whole financial life, reviewed with you over time.

What can Bamboo Wealth's advisers help with?

Our advisers can provide tailored advice across:

  • financial planning and goal-setting
  • investment strategy and portfolio structure
  • superannuation and retirement planning
  • tax minimisation strategies
  • insurance and personal risk protection
  • debt management and lending structure, including home loans
  • estate planning
  • self-managed super funds (SMSF)
  • integrated advice for business owners spanning both personal and business finances

For anything outside financial advice, such as drafting a will or a specific legal matter, we'll work alongside your solicitor or accountant rather than trying to cover it ourselves.

Is personal advice right for you?

Tailored advice tends to add the most value when you're dealing with:

  • a big life transition: retirement, marriage, having a child, or buying a home
  • a business sale, inheritance, or other lump sum you need to put to work
  • combining finances with a partner, or planning for dependants
  • uncertainty about whether your super and investments are still working for you
  • insurance needs that have become more complex, or gaps you're not sure about

If you're just starting out or mainly want to understand how something works before committing to a plan, our free tools and resources (below) might be a better first step than a paid engagement.

How much will it cost?

Your first appointment with Bamboo Wealth is obligation-free and provided at no added cost to you. After meeting with an adviser, you'll receive a fixed-cost quote before we start any work, so you can make a fully informed decision about whether to proceed.

After your first appointment, financial advice is charged at an hourly rate of $330.00.

The overall cost of your financial plan depends on your needs:

  • Comprehensive financial plans range from $2,640 to $5,940, depending on the complexity of the plan (cost may be higher in some cases).
  • Specific, single-topic financial advice ranges from $1,980 to $2,640, depending on the topic.

All pricing includes GST.

How do I pay for advice?

Where advice relates directly to your superannuation, you may be able to have some or all of the fee deducted from your super balance, subject to your fund's rules and current regulations. Advice that isn't directly related to your super is generally paid for out of pocket. Your adviser will walk you through what applies to your situation before you commit to anything.

Our process

Step 1: Book a call -Start with a short, no-cost conversation so we can understand what you're looking for and confirm whether tailored advice is the right next step.

Step 2: Understand your position - We review your income, assets, liabilities, goals, and risk profile in detail, and talk through what's working and what isn't.

Step 3: Build your strategy - We design a personalised strategy and put it in writing as a formal Statement of Advice, so you can see exactly what's being recommended and why.

Step 4: Ongoing guidance - Once you've implemented the plan, we stay involved, reviewing and adjusting it as markets, legislation, and your own circumstances change.
